Thank-you Erika!
As you may have heard, Erika is stepping down as our PAC chair. She has done a fabulous job. Through her leadership, hard work and tenacity, the PAC has contributed to educational resources, technology and field trips. Erika has been a great listener and a wonderful student and parent advocate. Your efforts are appreciated Erika.

PAC News and Thanks
Thank you to Erika Ponsford for doing a fantastic job this year as PAC chair. We are so thankful for the caring, efficient, and business-like way Erika has run the PAC. She really listened to the staff to discover our needs and was creative and quick to find solutions. She couldnÕt have done it all alone so we need to thank all our PAC volunteers.

We would also like to thank our PAC executive, Tanya Akerman, Natalie Gold, Ernie Wood and Janice Shields. We appreciate all that you have done for our school throughout the year.

For personal reasons, Erica has decided to step down as PAC chair for the coming year. We need a new chair for next year so please consider taking on this role for your school. The PAC chair doesnÕt have to do it all, but we need a skilled team leader to fill ErikaÕs shoes. Please consider helping us here or in another role as a parent volunteer.

If you are a parent of a child at our school you are automatically a member of PAC. The PAC is instrumental in a thousand capacities around the school. They provide funds for a variety of school needs, from classroom resources to field trips. This year we got a new colour printer for the lab and all the classes received help with field trips. The PAC volunteers organized volunteers for the Safe Arrival, Library Book fairs, Country Grocer tape program, and Thrifty Smile Cards shopping. They helped with special events such as the Christmas craft fair, and concert, Crafts and Caorls, the Talent Show, the Chocolate Lovers Booth at the Fall Fair, and the Country Dance and Silent Auction (Our one big fundraiser of the year). The PAC applied for grants on our behalf and got us a bank of new computers. We were also able to run a raffle to raise money for our Primary Reading program. Parent volunteers created a classroom sculpture in our primary class. Our parents volunteered in classrooms, on field trips and in a thousand other capacities. Our school would not be so rich without our parent volunteers. We thank all of you and if we missed something you did please forgive us because you did so much itÕs hard to fit it all in. You are the best!
